Natalie
Your motivational poster really is motivational. IT really inspires us to want to stay out of the ocean because of the sharks. Your pictures really is intense to the eye and makes nobody want to go swimming again. Your quote about take a bite is a nice addition. BUt then again your quotes on wanting to save the sharks is great aswell. Although sharks are scary and frightning, they also play a significant role in ocean atmosphere. Keep up the good work, as your motivatinal poster is going to make a great addition to your training manuel.

BUUUUURRRR!!!! It's freezing.
Although a lot of people are afraid of the polar ice caps melting and having the water take over all of the land, the polar ice caps are homes to beuatiful animals and wildlife. The polar ice caps in Antartica a fasinating things that we would sure miss if they are not there. People hate the cold, but these ice formations serve great purposes in the land down there and its important not to think down on them. Remember, ice makes people survive in the world, so dont take advantage of them.

Jane,
Your poster just has a very good layout! Way to go! The simplicity and placidness of it just is breath taking. All the whales on the poster really gives it a good ocean theme. Although it was a great poster we can not give you a raise for it. you need to be much more than that in order to really satisfy this company. By the way the whales are so majestic and peaceful! its just fabulous to see another whale lover doing that she wants to see. The economy is not doing so well and that is the main reason for not giving you a raise.

Katharine,

I loved your motivational poster of the palm tree at sunset over the Hawaiian ocean. That would motivate anyone to keep going, keep protecting the environment, and to love the water. If we don't protect our marine habitat, it won't be beautiful for us. All of us, all over the world dream of vacationing in a beautiful oasis environment like Hawaii. Can you imagine if we all spoil it by pollution, sewage, oil, and killing off our marine life with same, or by overfishing? Where would we go to experience natural beauty? You have motivated us all to work hard to protect the ocean, its shores and marine life.

Jane,

I loved all the work you did on the motivational poster of the whales. It shows the effort you went to in this project. I agree that we all know what to do, but sometimes we need to just do it. Whales are a peaceful reminder of our ocean's marine life and they are beautiful. Their sounds are beautiful, and the way they interact (like in your photos) are friendly. I believe working to protect and serve whales is important, not just for whales, but for the whole marine environment, and we haven't yet completely understood their value. Your employees will view this poster and be reminded that what they are doing is important and encourage them.

For my motivational poster, I tried to import a photo, and also tried to cut and paste from a photo I created, but couldn't figure it out. So, please see website: www.image-foto.com/water4.html for the photo as the background for the poster.
The Poster will say:

There's a new resource in our community for fresh water and energy. It's what's made Santa Barbara beautiful all along - our ocean.

-The Santa Barbara Desalination Water Company

This poster should help motivate the Marine Policy/Management Analysis/Accounting Department employees because desalination will only be successful as a direct result of refining the desalination process in order to keep costs down. If we, as employees can make the process cost efficient and safe, we have a wonderful resource for our community and for other communities that are looking to us to set the example. We are groundbreakers (or water-breakers??) in this area, and should be motivated by knowing we are the new pioneers in the area of research and development by using a renewable resource, the ocean, for production of fresh water and creating energy.

If this link doesnít work try clicking on the huge one below
http://projects.edtech.sandi.net/pbelem/environment/choking.jpg

Humans today are contributing pollutants to the ocean at staggering rates. We need to educate the public about how the ocean works; everyone needs to do his or her part.
Hereís what they need to know:
Snip six pack rings
Donít fertilize your lawn
Clean up after your pet
Donít release balloons
Donít litter
And most importantly inform and educate others-many people are totally oblivious to the harmful results of their actions when dealing with our vast ocean.

You have been doing such a great job so far and I really believe you will be a great asset to this company. This is definitely where you belong and I hope you feel the same. So lets get out there and make a difference the best way we know how! Keep up the great work.
Sincerely,
Your Boss

Killer Whales

"Striving for excellence motivates you; striving for perfection is demoralizing."
Harriet Braiker

Imagine yourself on a bright and sunny day, while on a cruise. Youíre admiring the coastline when you notice a pod of killer whales. Looking at the beauty of these magnificent mammals in their habitat; interacting with each other as they migrate. Our job is to study them and protect them so they will be around for future generations to admire. To me there is nothing better then being on a boat watching killer whales interact with one another. Lets all due our best to preserve these beautiful creatures.

Daniel,

The picture was beautiful. This poster was very motivating for me. it was a refreshing reminder of how lucky i am to be in this feild of work. To have the opportunity to actually make a difference a big difference in our blue planet brings a smile to my face and keeps me coming to work everyday. Its also nice to hear your employer talk about our job as a beautiful and exciting thing and not as a job that we have to do. So thank you for the encouragmentI feel very lucky to have you as an employer.

Sincerely,
Your Employee

Brianne-

Thank you for your beautiful description of just how important the maintenance and salvation of our killer whales is. We are all very grateful to be able to see such magnificent creatures and would hate for them to no longer be a part of our world due to carelessness and ignorance. They are truly an amazing creature, and one that we should protect for future generations to enjoy and protect. It is refreshing to hear such motivation and inspiring to everyone, Iím sure, who reads your post and views your site. Thank you again for such refreshment and beautiful alliteration.

Tiffany-
I must say your image was both shocking and painful to look at. I am grief stricken by painful thoughts of forgetting to clip the six-pack plastic holders. You have, in a manner of words and images, motivated me into never forgetting to clip or snip in order to save our sea wildlife. It is disturbing to notice just how much the effects of our mundane lives result in the loss of an innocent wild animal. We are truly not caring for Godís amazing creation around us by being lazy and ignorant about the effects of our waste. Thank you for the reminder and fresh perspective..
