And what does Disneyland have to do with the ocean, you ask? Tsk, tsk, tsk, you silly mouseketeer. Let's put on our swim goggles and have a look around!

They have swans and goldfish that swim in the moat in front of Snow White's castle. And while you won't find these aquatic animals in the ocean, the same principles of flotation and breathing apply. By studying the swans and the goldfish in the moat, we can learn how the birds and fishes of the sea might act.

The Jungle Cruise is a perfect spot to study ocean processes. Winding through lush tropical palms and banyon trees, your journey here reminds us that all the waters of the world are joined as one. Evaporation from the ocean nourishes the rains that fall in the mountains, feeding the waterfalls that merge into rivers and flow lazily  into the oceans, beginning the cycle all over again.

Own your piece of the jungle. For plush toys, videos, CD-ROMs and other gifts, search on "jungle" @ The Disney Store Online.

Ship ahoy, mate. Pirate ships seem to pop up everywhere at Disneyland. And while they may have been a bit rough in their ways, pirates were some of the best sailors to be found. Their vessels were sleek and fast and their captains knew everything about the sea.  If it hadn't been for Peter Pan, a few of them might still be around!

A trip around the park on the Disney train takes you back to a time when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. At about that time, new oceans were being formed as the continents drifted apart. These new oceans flourished with all kinds of bizarre fishes, including the largest prehistoric shark of them all, Carcharadon megalodon, the ancestor of the Great White Shark!
